Milton Bruce RSA

Milton Bruce RSA

There’s always something happening at the Milton Bruce RSA, with club activities ranging from spud digs to rugby tipping competitions, giving members plenty of reasons to get together and enjoy a bit of friendly competition and good company.

The club also looks beyond its own doors, running an annual fishing competition in support of local and wider-area organisations such as the Otago Rescue Helicopters and LandSAR. It’s a great example of the club’s commitment to giving back and supporting the people and services that make a difference in our community.

As an RSA, the club also has an important welfare side, with a support officer and other members helping to support local veterans and their families, as well as looking out for regular club members when they need a hand. It’s that sense of connection and looking after each other that makes the club such an important part of Milton.

And why Milton? Because the local businesses are incredibly supportive of clubs and organisations, and there’s a real sense that people want to see each other succeed. As they put it, this wee town has a good heart.
