Moore Park Pump Track

What began in 2024 as a big idea from a group of passionate local young people has now become one of Milton’s most exciting new community spaces.

The journey started when some young riders approached Project Bruce with a vision for a pump track at Moore Park. Their enthusiasm and determination sparked a long but rewarding journey of planning, fundraising, and collaboration. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, that vision is now a reality.

Today, the Moore Park pump track is complete and buzzing with activity. Kids are riding every day. More than 40 tamariki joined us to celebrate the official opening on 22 December 2025!

A huge thank you goes to Graded Earth, who delivered an outstanding build, creating a track that is not only fun and safe, but beautifully integrated into the surrounding park environment.

In the lead-up to opening day, dedicated community volunteers also contributed countless hours of mahi, planting trees, spreading woodchip, and helping bring the space to life.

This project would not have been possible without the generous support of our funders, Te Tari Taiwhenua and Sport Otago. Their investment in our community and in the wellbeing of our young people has helped create a lasting asset for Milton.

The Moore Park pump track is now a vibrant and well-loved part of the town.
