The renowned Black Swan Cafe & Waihola Motel is situated in the town of Waihola at the begginging (or end!) of the Clutha Gold Trail. Right outside our door lies Lake Waihola, a freshwater tidal lake in the Clutha District of New Zealand's South Island.
The Black Swan Cafe boasts a rich history dating back to the 1950s when it was originally called The Black Swan Tea Rooms. Over the years, it has undergone several transformations, with the significant addition of the Waihola Motel in the late 1970s.
